$335 in Prizes up for grabs in a Haunted Halloween Scavenger Hunt

­­Not too far from the AmericanMuscle.com office is a small town. Like other small towns across Pennsylvania, it is unremarkable in its daily life. The s­easons come and go, and people celebrate together: gathering in autumn to crown a new Apple Fair Princess, and again in the winter to light the Christmas tre­e in the town center.

On the edge of this town, so far out t­hat most adults choose to ignore that it is wi­thin their borders, stands an old house sagging and worn with age and neglect. It is rumored that something terrible happened in that house, but there is no one still alive to say what. And every year, the town’s teenagers challenge each other to spend a night in the house, to find out once and for all if it is truly haunted.

No one has ever succeeded. But, this year is different. This year the Apple Fair Princess proved to be the most daring teenager in town, disappearing into the house one night, wit­h a promise to emerge t­he next day. That was three days ago, and she has not been seen since.

But, she has been heard.

Every night – at exactly midnight – the echo of a girl’s scream rolls through the town and into the ears of every resident. Every night, the townspeople gather in the town center, huddling together and talking frantically about what has happened, and what will happen next.

If what I have belongs to you

Then I need entertainment, too.

To my house, she came one night,

Searching for a wicked fright.

I scared her to a silent state,

And now she sits and waits her fate.

But her fate now sits in your hands

And you’ll decide which way she lands.

I’ll send you on a little hunt,

And this for me will be quite fun.

I’ll hide eight things around this town

And I’ll keep her until they’re found.

­Find them now, ‘fore it’s too late,

And she’ll walk through my haunted gate.

But if you fail to find them fast,

I cannot promise that she’ll last.

Her fate lies in the hands of town,

She’s begging not to let her down.

You have until All Hallows Eve

And until then you’ll hear her scream.

And I’ll let her be yours again.
