Like beer and pizza, the pairing of cars and babes never gets old, and never goes out of style. Once again celebrating this wonderful combination of curves, the upcoming 2010 AmericanMuscle.com calendar will feature 12 months of greatest hits from both of these all-time favorites.
Of course working for AmericanMuscle comes with some serious benefits, like getting your car in a calendar. This year’s theme was employee cars. So now you know what we’re driving. We wanted to share at least some of the experience with you. Here’s a little behind the scenes look at the 2010 AmericanMuscle.com Calendar photo shoot that took place here at our office last week. Now don’t say we never did anything for you.
Few things on your Mustang impact both style and safety more than your headlights and tail lights. Stock Mustang lights look good and are powerful enough for easy sundown drives. But when it comes to easy and affordable upgrades, a quality set of Mustang headlights and tail lights will make your ride turn heads by day and cut through the darkness at night.
Formula 1. NASCAR. IndyCar. World Rally Circuit. These race series represent the pinnacle in motorsports. Budgets are virtually unlimited and competition is fierce as drivers fight their way to the front every second of every race. When it comes to the cars, superior technology is essential, and every team is on the cutting edge. Among the many weapons they share in their drive to Victory Lane is nitrogen in their tires.
Why nitrogen? Simply put, it far exceeds conventional air inflation in performance, durability and long-term savings (the last of which likely means more to you and me than the Pros). Recognizing the inherent benefit of nitrogen-filled tires, AmericanMuscle is now offering this as an option with all mounted wheel and tire orders. Even better, it’s free. That’s right, I said FREE. Many shops offering nitrogen fills today are charging upwards of $10 a tire. Any way you slice it, that ain’t cheap.
Following a combined donation of more than $9,000 to Homes for Our Troops from AmericanMuscle and its friends and business affiliates, the charity sent the following letter of appreciation. We wanted to pass it on to you since the donation was fueled by funds raised at the AmericanMuscle.com Car Show and Charity Event on July 19, 2009. So thanks also go out to our loyal customers for helping us support this noble cause. Let’s all make sure to do it again next year.
Modifying Mustangs has been around since, well, since April 17, 1964, the day the original pony car first launched. Since then, countless owners of the iconic muscle cars have worked tirelessly to make them stand out in the crowd.
For me, I’ll take a nice race-tuned Cobra in classic white with blue strips. Or, black on black is always a good choice. But then I’ve been known to take more of a utilitarian approach to Mustang mods: If it makes it go faster, improve handling or stop better, it’s good, regardless of appearance.
Sadly, not all Mustang owners share this simple philosophy. Over the years pictures have come forward of highly modified Mustangs that went wrong—way wrong. Below are some of my all-time favorites. Perhaps the most staggering point to consider is that most of these were not built on a whim, but rather through hundreds of hours of painstaking labor backed by thousands, or in some cases, dozens of dollars.
We hope you enjoy, and look forward to your comments regarding these Mustang mishaps…
It’s no secret that our car show was wildly successful. But even we were a little surprised to see it up on a billboard in New York’s Times Square.
For those of you that made it to the show, if you look closely enough, you might be able to see yourself on the big screen!
Here’s some more great video coverage from the first annual AmericanMuscle car show.
By popular demand, the AmericanMuscle Girls come to life in this full-color video. Rachel, Cat, Kelsie, Jamie, Laura and Naomi all show off their sleek exterior styling and sharp curves. It’s up to you to figure out what’s under the hood…
Perspective is something that’s often overlooked in life. The view from behind the wheel of your Mustang is quite familiar. So is the sight of it sitting in your driveway. If you’re in a club, images of your Pony running in a large herd are not easily forgotten. But when you’re staring more than 500 feet straight down at your top-tuned and polished-to-perfection Mustang surrounded by 150 equally awesome ‘Stangs at the 1st Annual AmericanMuscle Car Show and Charity Event, that image will change your perspective.
The cars at the 1st Annual AmericanMuscle Car Show and Charity Event were not the only things turning heads. Torch Red and Tungsten Grey were accented by shades of blonde, brunette, and even red locks of long flowing hair as the American Muscle Girls made their way through the show. Rachel, Laura, Jamie, Cat, Kelsie and Naomi were definitely popular with the 1,000-plus mustang fans at the July 19th show.
Below are some pics of our ladies showing off their, um… Headlights. Which AM Girl would you most like to polish your bumper?
Sure, I can make the keys dance like Britney in spandex. But, admittedly, sometimes the power of description can only go so far. Whether you’re talking about the sinuous styling of a shiny Fox body, or a curvaceous contour of an AmericanMuscle Girl, no words can capture it like video. Enjoy!
