The 2015 Mustang reveal is getting closer and there’s been a lot of hype from the Mustang community about the new model! J. Mays, Ford’s Creative Chief Officer, previously said the new gen model will be less retro and way more modern as to move the Mustang name forward. That has people creating their own renderings of what they think it will look like.
Check this out… a good customer dropped of their 2011 5.0L Mustang GT California Special, topped off with a Vortech Supercharger, for some custom tuning on the dyno from our team at Bama Performance. Mike Wilson, Bama lead calibrator, strapped down this blown 5.0L Ford Mustang to our dyno and let it rip! The results…

If you’ve been following our 2012 Boss 302, you know that we’ve been doing what many Boss owners dare to do… use the car for what it was built for! Most Mustang junkies will know that one of the coolest features on the car was the fact that it came with factory side-exit exhaust. We loved the idea… and when we added over 60 horsepower and 69 torque to our stock Boss with some upgrades, we were really sad to see it go. We had to do something about this!

We needed an epic shot for the cover of our new 79-04 Mustang catalog. I think the marketing team might have been waiting for an excuse, but hey, either way – the recipe was simple! You take (1) part high horsepower Mustang and mix it in with (2) parts demolishing a set of rear tires. Grab your camera, and the burnout video above is what you get!
We’ve always had a ton of respect for the troops that serve our country. We’ve been helping send care packages, hooking up our customers with a military discount and even donating proceeds from our annual car show to Homes for our Troops and the Wounded Warrior Project. As great as that is, sometimes it’s just nice to hook up customers who serve our country directly!
