We’re rolling out a brand new video series to cover what’s going on in the Mustang world and at AmericanMuscle.com each and every month! We’ve got a ton of stuff going on this August, including the largest Mustang-only car show on the planet (would “in the universe” be too bold?). Not only are we planning one of the hottest events of the summer for Mustang owners, we’re also taking on two different Project Car builds at once. That’s not all, though…
With your help, and after combing through thousands of submissions, we’ve named our 2014 Mustang GT Project Coyote. Now, were pitting that 2014 GT against another not-so-typical grabber blue Mustang: a 2006 GT. We’re going to place these cars–and the AM crews building them–against one another for an eventual track day showdown. But first, we need your help naming the 2006 grabber blue Mustang! It’s time to get creative and leave us a comment letting us know what you think our latest project car should be called.

What you’re looking at here is another 2015 Mustang prototype cruising around Detroit. Spotting the new Mustang in the wild hasn’t been a difficult task lately, but what sets this new video footage apart is the glorious rumble of its V8.
Details about the 2015 Mustang and its redesign have been leaking out of Dearborn steadily over the past few weeks, leaving small clues and much to be desired about what is to come. This video now gives us the first real look at a fully functioning and driving 2015 Mustang. Is it a V6 or a V8? Hard to tell, but those big, beefy brakes in the front are definitely something to gander at.
What turned out to be a fun and eventful day here at AmericanMuscle culminated with the 2012 Shelby Super Snake taking down the day’s top horsepower award. With six very different cars all putting down huge numbers, it still ended up being a close match with the Shelby winning it by only 16rwhp. Watch video from the event and see what each of these high horsepower Mustangs put down on our Dynojet at this year’s Mustang Mayhem presented by AmericanMuscle.
It looks like Ford is putting the final touches on the 2014 Cobra Jet Mustang. Outfitted with GoPro cameras, Ford’s proclaimed COPO killer blasts down the track at speeds unfathomable by the Prius touting crowd. The newest factory race car from Ford now comes equipped with a parachute capable of 150mph speeds. Two new paint schemes–Godda Have It Green and Flat Black–are available in addition to the basic White paint option.
