9000 miles, 155 hours behind the wheel, 29 days, 23 states and 13 cities. Yup, it’s finally time for us to hand back the keys of the 2016 S550 GT that Andrew loaned us for what probably should go down in history as the craziest, most nonsensical transaction to have ever have taken place.
Columbus, Ohio a city known for its gorgeous park systems, thriving metropolitan areas, its world class zoo and of course home to THE Ohio State Buckeyes. Yet as our penultimate destination we choose not to focus on the aforementioned attractions, rather we were persistent in completing the final task to “Americanize” us, which was to shoot guns.
It was never our intention for us to go to Chicago. According to our proposed itinerary drawn up at AM2016, we were supposed to go from Denver to Kansas City and then to Indianapolis. Chicago was never in the picture. This decision was initially questioned by Andrew at the onset of our voyage, but we quickly dismissed his suggestion to hit Chicago. Little did we know that just then, Andrew had planted a seed.
Denver will forever be remembered, naught for the sights or the activities in which we participated, but rather for several, select individuals to whom we had the pleasure of meeting, and one we did not meet at all.
8 hours turned into 13, and our destination changed from Portland to Eugene. The most amazing miserable half-day drive to date.
Anthony Bourdain on San Francisco: “Anyone who doesn’t have a great time in San Francisco is pretty much dead to me”. We tend to agree.

Two good looking Canadian boys, one fast and loud car. We’re just one 15 minute tape away from becoming Hollywood’s next superstars. Welcome, Los Angeles.
Connor’s take on the S550 Mustang, after 4000 miles (half way through).
