SPY VIDEO: Two 2015 Mustang RTRs Drifting!

World Champion Drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. has been caught on video destroying a set of tires on the 2015 Mustang RTR while doing some glorious drifting. Vaughn Gittin Jr. has been throwing Mustangs around turns in a mix of tire smoke and exhaust noise for years now and is continuing to do so with the newest generation of the Mustang, the S550. With his own line of specialty Mustangs dubbed “RTR” or Ready To Rock, Vaughn is bringing his signature style and performance to the 2015 Mustang.

Back at the AmericanMuscle 2014 car show, Vaughn gave us a glimpse of his 2015 Mustang RTR, which continues the legacy of the drift-inspired Mustang. As the SEMA Show in Las Vegas is just a few days away, more and more sneak peaks of cars have been leaking out, with the most recent being the 2015 Mustang RTR in action.

2015 Mustang RTR Spec 5 Concept

We captured spy footage from a remote testing ground of Vaughn putting the 2015 RTR through the paces by doing some sick drifting/donuts. Adding a cherry on top is that another 2015 RTR is added into the mix for some tandem drifting action.

2015 Mustang RTR Spec II

The Mustangs in the video are the 2015 RTR Spec II and the RTR Spec 5 concept. As for the specifics on the vehicles, we are uncertain as to what exactly this two new RTR models have done to them; however, do know that Vaughn being the hardcore performance enthusiast that he is, they are going to be a nice step up over the stock 2015 Mustang GT and will offer a lot of fun for a reasonable cost.

Stay tuned as we will be constantly bringing you updates from SEMA as they happen, which will include getting the full scoop on these hot new 2015 RTR Mustangs. The 2015 Mustang RTR will be available this January at authorized RTR Ford Dealerships which can be found on mustangrtr.com. If you are just looking to upgrade your 2015 Mustang with RTR parts, AmericanMuscle will be your exclusive supplier and have parts available in January.
