Whipple Supercharged 2015 Mustang Makes Warranty-Backed Power

Mustangs are no stranger to the power that Whipple Superchargers can make, and the 2015 Mustang will be no different. Whipple has been hard at work getting a forced induction setup ready for the S550 Mustang and the numbers they are projecting are huge! Whipple is claiming that their 2.9-liter twin-screw supercharger will make 700HP on 91 octane fuel, with no other upgrades to your S550 Mustang. We were already impressed with the power numbers on the 2015 Mustang but now Whipple has really changed the game with these figures.

The best part of all of this is that Whipple offers a 5 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty for it. The Whipple W175FFAX Twin-Screw Supercharger has a huge air to water intercooler, 65lb/hr fuel injectors, flat torque cure, aluminum high-flow intake manifold, and a large list of other features. All the way around this is an incredible setup that is going to deliver staggering power.

Whipple Superchargers and Ford Mustangs go together like peanut butter and jelly. Whipple has been the long standing go-to option for the Mustang community and it looks like things are going to stay that way. All the way around this Whipple Supercharger system sounds like a hot setup for the 2015 Mustang. The price tag for this Supercharger is $7,650 for a black finish and $8,150 for Polished or Ford Racing Blue; keep in mind that this carries with it a warranty, something not many other supercharger companies can claim.

There is nothing quite like driving a Supercharged Mustang let alone one that is making close to 700HP. Whipple seems to be pulling out all the stops for the 2015 Mustang, which with numbers like what they are claiming, will drag the Dodge Challenger Hellcat down the track without breaking a sweat.

  1. Are you sure about the warranty, I’ve contacted some shops and Whipple is telling them they are not offering the power train warranty on this unit.
