It’s about damn time they let the Shelby 1000 out to play and stretch those legs. Check it out as they bring it out to the Las Vegas Motorway to test this bad boy out. This is the supercharged version, so that’s over 1,000 horses roaring down the track! It sounds and performs like a complete beast!
Here are a few short clips and pics of the sweet new Shelby in action and not only does it look freaking awesome, but it certainly hauls some serious ass. One thing we’re missing here, though, quarter mile times! We would like to know what this thing is capable of at the drag strip besides slaughtering everyone in sight.
Although, we weren’t graced with the actual times this thing was throwing down, we did get to see one ridiculously fast car up close and personal and then watch it tear down the track. Just the sound of it is enough to raise goose bumps. This car was meant for one thing, raw power. Mr. Shelby (RIP) must be so proud.
