VIDEO: SSOTN Drag Race Crash a Close Call for AmericanMuscle

This past weekend was the SSOTN (SuperStallions of the Net) Fall Nationals at Cecil County Dragway in Maryland. Some of the baddest Mustangs on the net showed up to battle head-to-head in perfect track conditions, sunny 65 degree weather! However, AmericanMuscle staff member, Ryan Duncan, got more than he bargained for!

The AmericanMuscle crew showed up with over 10 members, 7 of which ran their Mustangs. One stood out from the pack; Ryan’s 94′ GT was turning heads all day long! His Black 331ci Vortech Supercharged Mustang can be seen in the second run in the video above. He was nearly involved in a mishap when an S10 pickup lost control and crossed lanes during the run! Luckily, he was able to stop in time to avoid any damage to himself or his Stang.

Ryan shook it off, and decided to give it another shot. His best time of the day was a 12.12, but his car overheated just as he was getting into a groove. 11′s are right around the corner for Ryan! You can bet he’ll be seeing you at SSOTN Spring Nationals!

Luckily, these guys all walked away without injury. The driver in the first accident was even reported to walk away and help load up his trailer!

So tell me, what does your car run in the 1/4 mile?

About Chris Rose

This hobby became serious when I went to work for a local speed shop. Within a few years, I helped build the business into a nation-wide name that focused on modifying and tuning late-model Mustangs. We equipped ourselves with a chassis dyno, lifts, mechanics and that is where I gained my SCT and Dynojet Certifications. I spent 6-7 years there, building and custom tuning in the best and most passionate automotive industry; the Mustang aftermarket. Since the move to AmericanMuscle in April of 2010, I have purchased my second Mustang – a Grabber Orange 2007 GT (supercharger coming soon)! My Google+ Profile

it dont, no motor, but even with it only a 15.7, due to 3 intake valves bent, thanks to my local friendly ford dealer.
