We’ve always had a ton of respect for the troops that serve our country. We’ve been helping send care packages, hooking up our customers with a military discount and even donating proceeds from our annual car show to Homes for our Troops and the Wounded Warrior Project. As great as that is, sometimes it’s just nice to hook up customers who serve our country directly!
A few months back, one of our customers serving in Afghanistan wrote us:
Are you ready to be jealous? There’s 9 of the sickest, streetable Mustangs in these videos, putting down an average of 800HP to the rear wheels! These aren’t just steroid-ed up Mustangs cruizing the street, these are the ones that put them to shame.
We’re sorry to interrupt your day, but we didn’t think this should wait! A month or so back, over 10 beautiful girls invaded the AM Headquarters for 3 days while we brought in of the area’s baddest Mustangs for an epic photoshoot!
Not too long ago, we received a dare from our customers on Facebook, YouTube and a few different Mustang enthusiast forums. The message was clear: we want to see you race your 2011 GT and your 2012 Boss 302 at the drag strip. The timing was perfect… we had two employees beating their chests going back and forth about who the better driver is. It was time for them to “put up or shut up”, and shortly after, we headed to Cecil County Dragway for a grudge match!
If you’ve been following along throughout our 2011 V6 Mustang project, you know we left off with a respectable 12.47 1/4 mile pass at the end of Stage 4. That was a really good time for what we had into the car up until that point. It was even the fastest recorded 11-12 V6 pass for quite some time until Central Florida Motorsports and another privately owned 2011 V6 both pulled amazing times of 12.2 and 12.34, sending us back to the grind!
We hit the garage hard, with some help from Circle D Performance, PSI Proformance, Procharger and a good set of slicks & skinny’s, we wanted 11’s… BADLY!
The AmericanMuscle annual Mustang car show has grown to become THE event to attend each year. After last year’s 500+ Mustangs, 1700 attendees and nearly $15,000 raised for charity, we set the bar pretty high!
This year we’re going big – and we need your help to make this event a success. We’ve got a bigger/better location, a new charity, more food, more awards, more prizes and more girls! Join us, Sunday, August 14th, 2011 in Media, PA for our biggest show, yet (oh, and you get a FREE T-Shirt when you Register Now)!
