A few weeks back, we took a trip to Beech Bend Raceway in Bowling Green, KY with the 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords Magazine crew to give them a taste of our Procharged 2011 V6 – currently holding the record for the fastest 2011 V6 Mustang in the world. Steve Turner, chief editor at 5.0, wanted to get some seat time to see exactly what the car could do! It was definitely an honor, and he had no problem strapping in and putting his foot to the floor!
Take whatever you think you know about V6 Mustangs and throw it away. We’re taking a completely stock 2011 V6 Automatic, rated at 305hp from Ford, and showing the potential that Ford left us with this new 3.7L engine. We’ll be building this bad boy up in 4 Stages of modifications and put it to the test on the dyno, at the track and on the street!
Here’s a new, fun contest from AmericanMuscle: How long do you think someone can sit in a new Mustang and outlast three cabin mates in order to win that Mustang? Maybe weeks and weeks. Honestly, the twisted minds in AM’s contest department don’t care about that.
