Some love it and other hate it, so we’re leaving it up to the Mustang community to decide what to think of this interpretation of the next generation, 2015 Ford Mustang. Based off the recent front end revealing spy photos, this artist’s rendering brings in much of the front and side angle designs shown on current 2015 prototypes and in spy photos, along with some guesswork when designing the rear. Even with a set of Ford EVOs rims, this S550 still retains a muscular look and is easily distinguished as being a Mustang.

For the latest details and information on the next generation Mustang, head over to the 2015 Mustang news section and get the inside scoop on everything from the engine lineup to testing videos and more. If you like what you see and plan on bringing one of these muscle cars home the second they become available, be sure to check our 2015 Mustang parts page for the latest aftermarket parts as they hit the shelves!

So, HOT or NOT?

I’m in the middle of the road on this one. Honestly can’t say hot or not. There are some parts I don’t mind and some that I do. Kinda looks like a combination of a transformer and a Camaro….

  • Kris Phillips

sexy hot and mean. but it’s no mustang. put another name on it.

  • Hyatt Crystal

It looks AWESOME! A sleek, mean looking car. But, it’s no Mustang. A Fusion/Taurus Sport Coupe, maybe. But not a Mustang.

    • Hyatt Crystal

Or, even call it the new Probe?

  • Larry Phillip Hughes

Ford has really missed the mark this time. I’ve owned many Mustangs, but I won’t buy this ugly creature.

  • Mike Goff

The front end looks like a cross between a Fusion and a ’13 Dodge Charger. Freaking Ugly!

  • Juanpa Guzmán

    This is HOT O/

any true Mustang lover wont care what it looks like, they love every model, including the Mustang II that pushed a lot of people away… I have to admit, I’m not hardcore into mustangs as I hate the Foxbody 80s look cause it didn’t have sides coops and looked like every other car on the road, but as long as they make Side Scoops for this mustang I’m in, otherwise, it IS just another Aston Martin…

    • Steve Mulcahy

      Just a $30,000 Aston Martin though 😉

  • Clayton Morin

to be honest, I think the next logical step should have been a true fastback design, then another Mustang II (or III it would be called)… if people really hate this design, maybe we all should OFFICIALLY call it the Mustang III, or just call it what it is, an Aston Martin… I mean seriously, have none of you made this connection? some of you are saying it looks like a fusion, but even THAT looks like an Aston Martin, or how about you people that say it looks like a Camaro, so what, Camaro basically copied the original Mustang when it 1st came out, as for the Dodge comment, WTF are you looking at? looks NOTHING like a Dodge!

    • Brett Thomas

yea i was thinking aston martin when i first saw the evo that was rumored to be the new mustang.

    • Steve Mulcahy

Is there anything wrong with it sharing similarities with a car that’s probably 4 times the price of it?

      • Clayton Morin

no, in fact that’s what I like most about it changing…

  • Ken Robertson

Since when does a Fusion have 2 doors & 5.0?

    • Brett Thomas

see ford falcon (australia, 449hp, 420lb/ft) for a coyote 5.0 in a fusion. why isn’t this being sold in america?

  • steven

Its a really nice looking car yes but calling it a mustang is fighting wards.

  • Brett Thomas

like the styling or not, its sure to be a camaro (and anything else near its price point) killer at 450hp and 3200lb’s with independent rear suspension. anyone else hoping its ugly so they dont have to trade in their new 2013 5.0?

Very good looking car, but too edgy to be a Mustang in our opinion. Everything except the front end could potentially work. But, after the great retro throwback styling of the last 10 years, this is just too different.

    • Steve Mulcahy

Fortunately the S197s don’t all get crushed the minute Ford releases this 😉

  • Steve Mulcahy

I’m not a fan of the window frames and I don’t think they’ll be there in the finished product. Otherwise, I think the car will look great, yeah, it won’t have the same look as the S197, but Ford wasn’t interested in that body shape from 1973-2005 anyway.
