If I cared about the environment, I wouldn’t drive a hot Stang! It passes inspection for emissions, so I’m doing the best I can. Forget about Al Gore and Ed Begley!

Those are called sticky weights. They’re used on wheels that don’t have the correct lip structure for hammer-on weights. When sticky weights are applied correctly, they adhere as well or better than hammer-on weights.

That shake means they’re out of balance and unsafe. Eventually, you’ll have strange wear patterns in the tires.

The bad thing is…I still have a shake in the steering wheel after putting them on. I’ve decided to accept it and wait until this spring when I’m going to put on a set of MT’s

They are not hammered on, they are taped on with 3M adhesive.

So these new steel weights will rust and look like junk. I am sure they will also scratch up your wheel being hammered on too.

I agree paint them, but 15 is a bit much.
