This is stage 2 of a three part series detailing the restoration of one beaten, neglected, then beaten again 1993 GT and its transformation into a one-of-a-kind ’93 Cobra convertible. Stage 1 included an essential tune-up, new clutch, body work and fresh paint in preparation for stage 2. The horrendous duct taped intake found with the car has been replaced with an SR Performance cold air intake ahead of schedule just so the tired 5.0 could be driven safely to the paint booth.

The 2013 Detroit Motor show was a big deal for Carroll’s company, Shelby American, and Shelby enthusiasts. During the show they unveiled a few surprises, one being an almighty wide-body ’13 Shelby GT500 Super Snake Mustang! Now, that’s what I’m talkin’ about!
Could this be the next-gen ’15 Mustang front end?
What is this we spy? That would be a Ford Mustang obviously, but that front end seems to be hiding something completely different! The cover over the front end is not very Mustang-like at all, well, not yet anyway. The front end seems to have super slim rectangular headlights as well as one hell of a grille. That’s what the cover is showing us, anyway.
The world’s premier auto trade show, SEMA, offered some of the hottest rides on the planet and included among them was Nikki Frost’s “Gotta Have It Green” 2013 Mustang GT. Featured in Vortech’s booth, Nikki and her beastly Mustang not only look good, but the Green Machine is packing a manual transmission and over 600 horses under the hood. Yeah, this is one Mustang not to be taken lightly. This pony was equipped with a Vortech V-3 Si Supercharger and a plethora of other upgrades helping it earn a great deal of attention throughout the show.
Earlier this year, we brought you a photo of what we thought could be the new ’15 Mustang hiding inside the S-197 shell. There were a few indications pointing toward the 2015 Ford Mustang being cleverly tested incognito. Well, another “photo” (above) has surfaced claiming to be a spy shot of the new Mustang (looks
a little photoshopped). We’re not convinced, but check out this next claim…
