Everywhere I’ve turned lately, New Edge owners have been saying they’re not feeling the love. They’re not the most current generation of ponies any more, and lots of manufacturers are focusing on the S197′s for cool new parts. Unfortunately, I’m not the CEO of a huge manufacturing company, so I can’t do anything about the new parts. I do have a little pull on the blog, though, and I thought it was time to show the New Edges some love. So here are seven sweet ‘Stangs for you to enjoy.
All a Mustang ever needs to shine is sunlight. A little chrome never hurts, though.
Saint Patrick’s Day is a great holiday. It’s traditionally celebrated by drinking beer, and that’s the kind of tradition anybody can embrace. Another benefit is that you can celebrate if you’re Irish, if you might be Irish, if you have ancient Irish ancestors, or if you’re just a fan of Irish things (like beer and cool music). Mustangs are an iconic example of American muscle cars, but we’ve gathered six of the coolest, greenest Mustangs to showcase in honor of Saint Patrick’s Day. So scarf down some Irish potatoes and a couple of pints of green beer, sit back, and enjoy. Erin go bragh!
This mean green Mustang is ready to dominate the road. (more…)
As you’ve probably heard, the Northeast has been hit by not one, or even two, but several snow storms over the past few months. Newscasters are throwing around goofy words like ‘snowpocalypse’ and ‘snowmageddon’. There’s been laughter, panic, and a lot of shoveling. There have also been great pictures of Mustangs in the snow. Thus, for this installment of the FotoFix, we give you snowed in ‘Stangs. Since AM is always happy to showcase employees’ vehicles (see our 2010 calendar for proof), we thought we’d share some pics taken by employees this go-round.
If you look closely, you can see this Mustang’s mirror and antenna trying to escape the snow.
Let’s be frank; words are tiring. Sure, they’re useful, but they’re also exhausting. Unless you’re a hermit who lives in a remote mountain cabin, you’re expected to read and listen to words all day, every day, and even put forth some of your own. We know how much this takes out of you. And friends, we’re here to help. Welcome to My Mustang FotoFix, where all you need to do is sit back, relax and check out some really cool pictures of the best car to ever hit the street. While you’re at it, check out our fox body Mustang parts.
The only thing cooler than taking your Mustang to the track is gaining a little altitude while you do it.
The SEMA Show is like no other car show on the planet. Though supposedly just for those working in the industry, enthusiasts have little challenge landing credentials to the four-day Vegas event. For 2009, the show resurfaced from a gloomy 2008 with a slew of Mustangs front and center as the leader for hot new products and crazy high-budget customs.
This year I joined the team from AmericanMuscle.com to head west to Sin City for a look at the latest Mustang mods to hit the market. From matte black super stealths, to ready to race and in-your-face road masters, clearly Mustangs are the perfect choice to make virtually any show, street, or track performer.
Here are just a few of our favorites:
The Mustang Corral was invite only, and very impressive.
