My love for cars and fine machinery started when I was a kid spending my summers at various airports helping my dad work on airplanes. He was a professional skydiver and pilot and I was there to lend a helping hand. After he passed, I found a passion for Ford, mainly Mustangs, and have had the pleasure of owning a couple of self-modded ‘Stangs thus far. Although he was a Chevy guy at heart, he’d be proud to know that the tinkering around on planes and old cars led into a full-blown passion of mine which I’m sure would have made for a fun rivalry. Earlier this year, we brought you a photo of what we thought could be the new ’15 Mustang hiding inside the S-197 shell. There were a few indications pointing toward the 2015 Ford Mustang being cleverly tested incognito. Well, another “photo” (above) has surfaced claiming to be a spy shot of the new Mustang (looks a little photoshopped). We’re not convinced, but check out this next claim…
We’ve been keeping tabs on what’s going on with the new Mustang generation redesign for ’15 and trying to get as much info as possible to see where Ford plans on taking it. Between concept drawings and spy photos, we’ve been trying to make sense of the puzzle.
Ever since Formula Drift champ Vaughn Gittin Jr. unveiled his first 2011 Vaughn RTR design, it’s been a big hit with Mustang enthusiasts everywhere whether it’s the wheels, rear wing, front splitter or the rear diffuser or the whole dealer-installed package. Although, the handling was stiffer with a harsh suspension setup, things have changed! We’ve been teased with renderings of the new and improved 2013 Mustang RTR all over the web and our wait is finally over! Check out the video of one gorgeous RTR in action:
It’s about damn time they let the Shelby 1000 out to play and stretch those legs. Check it out as they bring it out to the Las Vegas Motorway to test this bad boy out. This is the supercharged version, so that’s over 1,000 horses roaring down the track! It sounds and performs like a complete beast!
Very soon the Mustang will be going under the knife and getting a complete overhauled design for the model year 2015! Renderings have been circulating around of what this new Mustang design might entail. When it comes to the designs previously mentioned, I must say that this has to be the best one yet! First of all, you can tell it’s still a ‘Stang which the previous renderings sorta lacked. Second, it is sporting GT40 hints according to the creator, Josh Byrnes from CarScoop.
